| | | | | | | | | | | Due to the continuing globalisation of
the economy, an increasing amount of work involves collaborating
with people from different cultures. Working interculturally can be
both inspiring and frustrating.
We offer two types of programs designed to alleviate potential difficulties and enthuse your staff:
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Intercultural Sensitivity Training
| | You explore and develop attitudes and skills that increase the chances of successful intercultural collaboration.
Intercultural sensitivity training develops the ability to deal
effectively with one’s own and other cultural frames of
reference. Essence does not train in country specific behaviour.
| | A personnel development program for people who work abroad or interact at home with foreign clients, partners or colleagues.
| | | | | | | | | | | | Intercultural
Team
Development
| | Away
from the distractions and pressures of work you will examine and
optimise your intercultural collaboration. The focus is on utilizing
cultural differences within your team.
When possible, these workshops are always facilitated by
consultants who either come from the respective countries or have
extensive experience with these cultures.
| | Organization development program for intercultural teams, executive teams or joint ventures across cultures.

Peter Krause Head of
Baxter Capital Europe
“We used the support of essence for the building of a virtual
international team. The cultural differences – 8 participants from 6
different countries – posed the challenge here.
One of the most important direct results was the joint development of a
new vision and mission, as well as the clear definition of
responsibilities. The workshop thus became the beginning of a new
collaboration – at the same time we were given the tools for the
future!”
